Will you tell me if I’m being overcharged?+
No. We don’t judge whether a price is fair, high, or low. We explain what the document covers, where it is unclear, and what to ask next.
Do you contact my contractor?+
Never. The review is between you and Learn The Quote. You decide what to raise and how to raise it.
What can I upload?+
A PDF, photo, scan, or screenshot of an emailed quote. If the text is readable by a person, it can be reviewed.
What if my quote is very short?+
It can still be reviewed. The report will focus on what the document does not commit to and the questions worth asking.
Is this a substitute for a surveyor, engineer, or lawyer?+
No. Learn The Quote reviews the wording of a quote. It is not legal advice, a structural assessment, or a valuation.
Can I use the report to negotiate?+
You can use it however you like. The question list is designed to help you ask for clear, specific answers.
What happens to my document?+
It is used to produce your review and is not shared with contractors or listed publicly.
