Will you tell me if I’m being overcharged?+
We show price fairness only when reliable context supports it. If it does not, we say so clearly rather than inventing a benchmark. The review still explains the quote's pricing structure, clarity, and questions worth asking.
Do you contact my contractor?+
Never. The review is between you and Learn The Quote. You decide what to raise and how to raise it.
What can I upload?+
A PDF, photo, scan, or screenshot of an emailed quote. If the text is readable by a person, it can be reviewed.
What if my quote is very short?+
It can still be reviewed. The report will focus on what the document does not commit to and the questions worth asking.
Is this a substitute for a surveyor, engineer, or lawyer?+
No. Learn The Quote reviews the wording of a quote. It is not legal advice, a structural assessment, or a valuation.
Can I use the report to negotiate?+
You can use it however you like. The question list is designed to help you ask for clear, specific answers.
What happens to my document?+
It is used to produce your review and is not shared with contractors or listed publicly.

Do I have to upload my quote again to upgrade?+
No. The Full Report uses the quote you already uploaded. If you upgrade to Compare, we keep that quote and only ask for the second one.
